Alito argued to overturn Roe...again

It just keeps getting worse with this guy! How much more convincing do folks need that Alito is dangerous for women?

From the Associated Press:

Supreme Court nominee Samuel Alito wrote in a June 1985 memo that the landmark Roe v. Wade ruling legalizing abortion should be overturned, a finding certain to enliven January's confirmation hearings.

In a recommendation to the solicitor general on filing a friend-of-court brief, Alito said that the government "should make clear that we disagree with Roe v. Wade and would welcome the opportunity to brief the issue of whether, and if so to what extent, that decision should be overruled."

More to come on the legalese of the memo--in the meantime, check it out for yourself.

UPDATE: Looks like this memo--which is being called new by news and wire services--is actually the same one released some time ago. Well, at least we can view the full doc this time around.

This bozo also defended domestic wire taps {Washington AP} at one time.
Do any of you actualy continue to believe that this is a democracy of the people, by the people?
So you must also believe in Santa Clause, if you replied yes, to that question.
This Society held so much promise in the 70's when injustices were being overturned by protest, and agitation for change.
Where the fuck are all you angry people today? I see zero posts here and zero replies in general to the Facsist programs being foisted on ourselves at the present time. Lot's of wringing of hands, while those hands are being shackled by those who wish to silence you, and me.
The true intent of democracy is to protect the rights of the minority, and the rights of those in the majority{WOMEN} whose voices are being muted by the those who have their personal wealth and power in mind when they make their fucking, dumbass decisions regarding legislative slates on their agenda. They have no real "touch" with mainstream america,i.e. you and me. Washington is a "Shangri-la" for them.
Either we get off our fat, lazy asses, and start to get aggresive regarding our personal interests , or we go the way of classical Athens.
