Brownback questions abortion for rape victims
Lovely. Compassionate conservatives, huh?
Republican Senator Sam Brownback of Kansas, a Roman Catholic convert, has questioned whether rape victims should get abortions.Campaigning for president before the National Catholic Men's Conference, Brownback said, "Rape is terrible. Rape is awful." But he asked, "Is it made any better by killing an innocent child? Does it solve the problem for the woman that's been raped?"
Brownback also railed against same-sex marriage. Classy all around.

I am so sick and tired of MEN claiming to be the know-all experts on whow women feel and what we should do when it comes to rape. So Brownback doens't think that aborting an unwanted child from rape "solves the problem" or "makes it go away"? Well, when was the last time he was raped and became pregnant as a result of it? Everytime I hear some bossy man try to tell women how they should feel or what they should do after they've been raped, I just want to kick him in the balls. That's no different than men claiming to be expert know-alls when it comes to childbirth or menstruation.
